It’s been another month of steady progress – in publicising the Library, where our Facebook page is getting more and more notice, – in adding items to the inventory, both catching up with what hadn’t been added before and putting on more recent donations, for which we are very grateful. Do please keep them coming! (see below).
We now have regular times when the volunteers work in and on the Library, and when it is Open For Business. Do become a Member if you haven’t already, and do see if there are things you might want to borrow already there, or things you might want to help us acquire because they are not yet there. https://leamlot.myturn/library
Those of you who have visited will know how little storage space we have, so were are putting out feelers for more space, particularly for the larger items which we struggle to accommodate. An empty garage or shed? Whatever is available, accessible, local – and at no or minimal charge. Ideas or help, please.
A couple of weeks ago our local MP Matt Western visited the Library and the EcoHub, and he said what we hear so often: “What a good idea.”
